Downtown hotels are convenient for shopping, tourism, and entertainment.
These are the downtown hotels within walking distance of the Toronto core. This is a non-exhaustive list of some well established premium hotels, though there are too many to mention. Toronto is home to some of the best hotels in Canada.
As an overview, some of the hotels in the downtown neighbourhood include: The Chelsea Hotel, The Mariott Hotel (3 locations), Holiday Inn, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, and the Sheraton Centre Toronto. Other hotels in the downtown area include: The Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons, Park Hyatt, and Hilton’s DoubleTree.
The Chelsea, Mariott, and Holiday Inn are very close to Yonge & Dundas, a popular downtown centre. The Sheraton Centre Toronto is across the street from City Hall and north of the Financial District (known as “Bay Street”, such as “Wall Street” in New York City.) On the other hand, The Four Seasons is in Yorkville, known for high end shopping. Closer to Harbourfront and Bay St. is the Fairmont Hotel (formerly named The Royal York, of historical import.)
There is another section in maps of other hotels, motels, and AirBnB listings that are also located in Toronto.
To make a booking, they can be reached directly or booked online through such platforms such as Expedia.ca
The airport to downtown transportation link is connected by the UP Train, with a train stop at Union Station. From there, the hotels can be reached either by cab or Uber. For direct Uber to hotel transportation, they are located at designated sections of the airport.
In the Member Shops section (Green Line), visitors can connect to a list of aides and concierge services via the metaverse for walk-in questions or inquiries. Certain professionals can act as consultants.
