About: Distillery District is a gem. It has restaurants, private art galleries, shops, confectionaries (chocolates), cafes, and small distilleries (including tours). During the winter and summer, there are events to visit. It is also a great place to take photos. It is a popular location for locals and tourists alike for its many activities and artistic atmosphere. It has old brick streets and renovated buildings that preserve its charm and original architectural character.

Local Bike Tips: For those familiar with Toronto’s beautiful bike paths in Toronto, a hidden gem, Distillery District is an amazing place to relax. Head south on Cherry St. to take the bike path to Cherry Beach or Tommy Thompson Park (longer trip). Head west to connect to the Martin Goodman Bike Trail and Toronto Centre Island (longer trips). Head east and this bike path takes you to the Brickworks and Edward Gardens (longer trip).
Nearby: The St. Lawrence Market is a 20 minute walk from The Distillery.
