Service Canada offers services by the Canadian federal government. Don’t confuse this with Service Ontario, which offers services by the Ontario provincial government.

It can be confusing. So check first. For example:
For a driver’s licence or Ontario Health Insurance Plan card (OHIP), this is Service Ontario. In Toronto, Service Ontario, online, is also responsible for Birth Certificates, marriage certificates, and death certificates. But for marriage licences, this is obtained at Toronto City Hall.
For a Social Insurance Number (SIN card), this is Service Canada. For EI (Employment Insurance), this is Federal. But for workplace injuries, this is under the WSIB.
For vehicle related tickets, check if this is for a parking ticket or a provincial offences ticket. For parking tickets, this is City of Toronto. For provincial offence tickets, go to Toronto Court services (there are different locations).
For permanent residence cards and citizenship, this is at the IRCC offices at 55 St.Clair Ave East. For tribunal matters, this is at the IRB Building at 74 Victoria St. But make sure to check which COVID and office protocols are in effect.
As for passports, it is at the Passport Office at 74 Victoria St.
For Toronto Police background record checks, this is at Toronto Police Services. But for RCMP background record checks, this is at a private provider.
For various business permits and city licences, this is at Toronto City Hall.
And of course, accuracy of this information is subject to change. Check and verify.
